Event Description

Web Frameworks are the foundation of the Web 2.0 revolution. They are a sophisticated way to efficiently and quickly build dynamic database-backed websites. Learn about the different types of web frameworks available and how they work. If you are interested in going beyond basic web programming but don't know where to start, this course is for you.

Katharine Osborne has 15 years experience with web development in a Unix environment. She is the author of Data and Text Processing for Business Intelligence from Research Publishers. She has been teaching database design online since 2003 and is currently an editor at computer book publisher Manning Publications. She officially became a Mac user in 2007 and never looked back.
