Designed for those with no prior experience in Adobe Illustrator, this session offers a comprehensive understanding of the program interface, design tools, and workflow to output Illustrator documents for both print and web. The industry standard for vector graphic output in nearly all fields of design, Adobe Illustrator is a powerful design platform for creating illustrations, logos, single page layouts, and web and interactive content. Areas covered include Illustrator program interface, understanding vector graphics and drawing tools, editing appearances and styles, working with groups and layers, live trace, the color pallet, and proper export of finished documents.
Ryan Brant is the co-founder and creative director for ADAM, a Hawaii-based branding and production company, where he oversees brand development and experience design for all clientele. Ryan has worked on advertising campaigns, global publishing strategies, and motion graphics for internationally acclaimed artists, commercial photographers, Gigapan, NASA, The Hawaii State Art Museum, The State of Hawaii, Shriners Hospitals and Gentry Homes.
