Event Description

With more than 90% of companies reporting that some of their employees bring their own device (BYOD) such as smartphones, iPads and laptops to work, it’s important to understand the risks as well as the benefits of this business practice. Hawaiian Telcom Information Security Officer Beau Monday will highlight the advantages and disadvantages of BYOD and review best practices for your company and employees.

Monday, who has more than 25 years of IT experience, directs Hawaiian Telcom’s security program for corporate information systems and the network infrastructure that delivers voice, Internet and digital television services to Hawaii’s 1.3M residents. He recently became a regular contributor to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser's Tech View column.
