Honolulu BICSI Breakfast Club

The purpose of the Breakfast Club is to provide an opportunity for BICSI members in Hawaii to get to know one another, for guests to find out more about our organization and for all to learn more about Information Transport Systems. The meeting will begin with a breakfast buffet. After a brief welcome and description of BICSI activities, we will have an educational presentation from our distinguished speaker:

Mike Lewis, Application Engineer at Megger will take us through the process of installing an effective grounding and bonding system, including identifying grounding and bonding components, proper installation and testing.  Mike has over 33 years of management and technical experience including telecommunications, installation, servicing, maintenance, outside plant, and repair. Duties include managing technical trainers, maintaining outside plant infrastructure, air pressure monitoring systems, cable restoration procedures, cable repair, managing field technicians, preventive maintenance programs, and developing/updating technical training program.

BICSI is a professional association supporting the Information Transport Systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies.  BICSI serves more than 24,000 ITS professionals, including designers, installers and technicians.  These individuals provide the fundamental infrastructure for telecommunications, audio/video, life safety and automation systems.  Through courses, conferences, publications and professional registration programs, BICSI staff and volunteers assist ITS professionals in delivering critical products and services, and opportunities for continual improvement and enhanced professional stature.  Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, BICSI membership spans nearly 100 countries.
