BUT on the other side of the table is Jeff Litvinoff, owner or Personal Touch Computers and Windows 7 with it’s new bells in whistles, faster processing, greater stability, all the things you’ve been waiting to hear. This you need to come for!
Geek Day and HMAUS Mactoberfest
October 24, 2009 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Leeward Community College, Digital Media
Come and bring friends. There will be hands-on workshops in LCC’s Digital Media Program computer labs on iPhoto, Mac 101 for new Mac owners, iTunes and iMovie! There will also be hands-on workshops on Flash, Illustrator, Wireless Home Security, Photo Editing with Picnic and more. The Professional Photographers of Hawai'i will have their flea market in the cafeteria all day.
But wait, there's more - demonstrations of Voice Thread, Anime and Making Tattoos with Photoshop and Illustrator presented by LCC’s staff and Digital Media student projects in the Student Lounge. During lunch Tom Boyle, videographer, producer and director of numerous surf films and a just completed horror film made in Hawaii, TRUTH or DARE presents on artistic expression, filmmaking and technology.
Bentos or Vegetarian option are available for $7.50 by preorder. Hawaii Hot Dog will be there but there won't be any other food service. So get that big, ono bento or veggie delight!
