The Hawaii Flash User Group is putting together a Flash Camp here in Honolulu, Hawaii. The dates of the camp our August 24st though August 25th, a 2 day flash gaming conference in Hawaii and on-line. The flash camp is now an on-line event and is FREE!

Flash Camp Hawaii this August will be your chance to see what the Flash platform has to offer, and why you will want to use it for your games.

Come learn why flash is the natural choice as a gaming platform!

This is a full day of offerings by an international team of experts, these are the following speakers 

  • Dave Gamez - Using Starling to create a interactive book
  • Joseph Labrecque - Using Adobe Gaming Tools for Education
  • Tom Krcha - Citrus Game Engine
  • Bruno Fonzi - building cross platform games
  • Chris Florio -  AIR for mobile games
  • Michael Plank -  Getting Started with 3D Flash Game Development
  • Brad Sedito -  Getting started with Away 3D 4.1
  • Chris  Georgenes -  Animation techniques for gaming

We will have experts in all areas of gaming from planning, designing, and coding of games, and optimizing them for all mobile platforms(iPad, iPhone, Android, etc.) The event is focused on flash gaming, there will be plenty of talks on creating, and using flash for games.
