Set your iPhone or iPad app apart from the crowd with an elegant interface design, efficient usability, and great user experience. Learn how to plan and design applications for the most popular mobile devices on the planet, the iPhone & iPad tablet. For those that have a solid foundation in design, examine how to "think iOS" and ask the right questions throughout the creative design process. Explore how considerations of design, psychology, culture, ergonomics, and usability all play a part in creating a successful mobile application.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge & familiarity with the Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, & Fireworks)
Mike King is a user interface designer at Ikayzo, an interactive design agency based in Honolulu. Mike specializes in user experience and interface design for desktop, web, and mobile applications. He has created interactive designs for educational institutions including University of Hawaii at Manoa and Kapiolani Community College as well as web and mobile brand identities for local startups including Frii, GreenMap, and FrameUp.
