Event Description

Is there an app for that? Apple's iPhone has given many people the power to reach out to the world through an app -- there's an app for almost everything! Learn Objective C and the iPhone Developers Tools to build real life iPhone apps. Topics include, iPhone development, Apple App Store, CoreLocation, MapKit, the iOS Developers Program, and basic Objective C principles.

Thursday evening: hands-on lab follow-up for clarifying and trouble shooting.  A brief review of topics covered and questions anwered.


This course is designed for people with solid computer experience, and some programming experience. To have test apps on your phone you need a paid iOS Developer account. (http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/)

John Wang has been designing and building cutting edge, standards based websites over 12 years. Recently, he has focused on mobile development and in particular the iOS and Android platforms.
