Event Description

Mark discusses his celebrity portraits of great actors like Tom Hanks, Penelope Cruz, Anthony Hopkins, Harrison Ford, Angie Harmon, Virginia Madsen, Jean Reno, Jane Seymour, Matt Damon and most recently Mariska Hargitay and Pierce Brosnan for HiLuxury magazine.

He also screens the short documentary, “Three Boys from Pasadena, a tribute to Helmut Newton” and discusses the 30-year friendship and inspiration that Helmut Newton offered three photography students - Mark Arbeit, George Holz and Just Loomis.

Mark Arbeit has been a professional fashion and beauty photographer since 1982. Working in Milan, Paris, Sidney, and New York for such magazines as French Vogue, French Marie Claire, Australian Harpers bazaar, and InStyle Magazine USA. Mark now resides in Honolulu, shooting locally for Ala Moana, HiLuxury, and Honolulu Magazine.
