Event Description

Hawaii Social Media Training Institute's "Breakfast with the Institute" workshop helps you find your social media comfort zone.

Join us for our Social Media Safety workshop on January 30th from 8:00am- 10:00am at The Box Jelly in Kakaako.

This Social Media Safety Workshop will share best practices for online and social media security and safety. The goal is to provide guidance and tips to having a presence online while safely navigating through the world of modern social media technology.

For $10, attendees will learn how to safely integrate social media into their lives, allowing them to meet new people, keep up with their family and friends, and monitor the online conversations about themselves and their loved ones.
More than ever, online safety is a huge issue, and with all the new social media and online networks out there, it is essential for users to understand the security risks involved. We encourage everyone to attend our workshop to learn more and join in the social evolution!
