2015 Hawaii Small Business Fair

“LAUNCH YOUR DREAMS INTO REALITY”

On Saturday, August 8, 2015, DBEDT will co-host the 2015 Hawaii Small Business Fair, “Launch Your Dreams into Reality” at Honolulu Community College. We expect more than 300 small business owners and entrepreneurs to attend this free one-day event, which will feature 30 business resource and informational training workshops; one-on-one business counseling sessions; plus exhibits with representatives from Federal, State and local agencies, organizations and financial institutions.

In addition to the wide range of workshops we have always offered, based on participant feedback from February 2015’s event we have added “Industry Insight” workshops that offer 2 full hours of insight and training in Food Service, Fashion, and Retail. As always, one-on-one business counseling will be provided by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and SCORE.

Schedule:
7:30 a.m.: Registration begins / Exhibitor booths open
8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Kick-Off Session: Secrets to Success featuring Kent Untermann of Pictures Plus and Erin Kano of Chocole’a
9:15 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Free Workshops
11:30 a.m.– 12:00 noon: Break for Food and Exhibits
7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Exhibitors Open for visitors
