Talk Abstract

Michael just returned from PyCon 2008 held in Chicago and says that there was so much going on there that he barely had time to sleep. He’ll
share what he learned about Python 3000 - what’s the big deal, what we should expect and how to prepare. Next, he’ll show off Django - the
Python web framework. Finally, a video about Google’s App Engine. Q&A will be done throughout the talk with open discussion at the end.

Talk Biography

Michael Bishop is a life-long student, consultant and FOSS advocate.

Open Ruby workshop:

Join Sam Joseph as he plays around with the Ruby and Rails. Bring along your Ruby programming questions and we can scratch our heads together :-) If you’re really unlucky he’ll show you his new linklens code :-)

BTW, it's the same night at the LINQ talk.

I'd like to go to both but if I have to choose I will go for Python.

Dan, this must be a tough call for you :)
