flash lite
Anybody here use flash lite? I recently have gotten really into it(had to re learn AS 2, which I never thought that I would have to use again), but creating phone apps using flash is cool.

yes I really like flash lite, if you are comfortable with flash & actionscript 1 & 2 than you just need to lean a few "phone" commands, which I found really straight forward. I am not the software dev guy, and for me to make simple apps that work is pretty cool. Last night for fun I made a clock screen saver for a nokia brand, so much fun,and it works too!
The down side is of course the devices, which I am not sure if there are any carriers here in Hawaii let alone the US that carries these devices so market your apps is hard. I think that if I knew software dev I would look into the iPhone. But since I just do it for fun, flash lite works for me, and you can test for free with device central in flash CS 4.
Good to meet you, and if you are interested I am going to give a demo at the adobe flash hawaii group meeting at the end of the month, it will be my first "live" tutorial" and hopefully I don't make any mistakes`-`
