Web Application Developer (Honolulu, Hawaii)

We are currently seeking talented, team-oriented Web Application Developers to join the Business Solution Technologies (BST) team as part of our Technical Consultant Development Program (TCDP). The Web Application Developer will assist in providing technical solutions on Oracle ADF/PeopleSoft based projects.  Primary responsibilities include design, development, testing, and support of various system enhancements/bugs and writing appropriate documentation by collaborating with clients and team-members.

About the TCDP Program

Core technology training using Oracle Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) / PeopleSoft application stacks

◦Oracle Enterprise Database 11G

◦Oracle Enterprise Weblogic Application Server 11G

◦Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF)

◦Oracle Enterprise Linux 6

◦Oracle PeopleSoft HCM 9.2

Core database fundamentals

◦Development of complex SQL and PL/SQL objects

◦Performance tuning SQL statements

◦Database Administrator tasks (import/export/start/stop databases)

Core web development fundamentals

◦Utilizing Oracle ADF component-based framework to create database-drive user interfaces (UIs) ◦Design/implement Java-based UIs using Model-Controller-View design pattern

◦Deploy and tune applications to Weblogic Application Server ◦Create AJAX functionality using JQuery and Javascript

IT consulting skills

◦Perform analysis/design/implementation of user requirements

◦Translate complex business requirements to functional specifications

◦Interface with clients through various meetings and engagements

The TCDP requires the following candidate qualifications:

•Recent graduate from a 4 year college/university with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or equivalent degree

•IT professionals with 1-5 years of experience in Java/SQL/PeopleSoft development

•Strong experience in Java, SQL, and web development
