Hawaiʻi's Technology Community

At the Hawaii State Archives we are writing the future of history. Our goal is to help governmental and cultural institutions throughout the world preserve important digital assets for all time. We are building the future of Digital Archives from the ground up.

We are building Java Open Source Software - leveraging Open Source projects like Spring, Hibernate, Relational and NoSQL Databases, and Netbeans Rich Client Platform. We are creating a fine grained component-based asset acquisition server, web-based client access, and specialized rich client desktop applications.

Our agile team runs on Scrum and collaborates using the full suite of Atlassian tools to facilitate communication, documentation, code reviews, source code control, and automated builds and testing. Quality is our top priority.

The Hawaii Digital Archives software development team is a very small team with a very big dream. If you like a challenge and have relevant experience, please contact us.
