To support our operation, Kamehameha Schools is hiring for a Database Administrator in the Information Technology Division. Below are summaries of the minimum qualifications for the Database Administrator position and of the Information Technology Division:

Summary of Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or closely related field and 3 - 5 years of related work experience. OR
• Associate's Degree in Information Technology or related field, High School Diploma or GED equivalent and over 10 years of related work experience with a minimum of 3 years of database administration experience in implementing and managing databases and 4 years of systems analysis or programming experience.
• Detailed knowledge of database design concepts, pertinent programming language and operating systems knowledge, systems programming, and networking.

Division Summary:The Information Technology Division (ITD) at Kamehameha Schools, provides support to the organization and operating departments in all activities related to information technology management including: technical support applications development, systems maintenance, hardware/software solutions, security provisions, networking, planning and architecture, and instructional technologies. ITD strives to be a collaborative partner with education and business units to provide relevant and appropriate technology solutions to help the organization achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
