Mashups

Using an Application Programming Interface (API) companies can offer software developers limited access to their data.  Developers who combine two or more API's and external data sources together form a "Mashup".

Hi Tommy, its currently searching a 10 mile radius of Oahu, I probably need to do some math and extend that.  Unfortunately Twitter only allows 150 requests an hour so I am going to build a farm of accounts to ensure the entire state is represented, in the meantime users can self-identify by going to the site and putting their username in.  Thanks for reaching out!

Nice Mashup Rob. Did you pull Oahu folks for their Klout, or was that the entire state?

Has anyone worked off of the Klout API?  I have been attempting to gather a list of Twitter users located in Hawaii, run their Klout score and rank the top influencers by topic/location.  Here is a sneak peak (not done yet): http://hawaiiklout.com/
