Hi All,

Another general question: What is your preferred browser to run Gmail. I was surprised to discover that the new Google toolbar is not supported on Chrome!

Hi All,

What dashboard do you use for your Google Apps? iGoogle, Gmail, other? Also, what's the best widgets you've found. For example, in iGoogle, my calendar widget ever works quite right, it doesn't show my agenda. And my Google Wave widget doesn't show my Wave page half the time.

Patrick: To be frank I find labeling it win or fail kind of useless as it does not add anything to the discussion. The article just illustrates the viscosity of the technology adoption. It simply takes time.

In terms of how and what I think of wave;
I think it has potential. I think it can simplify a lot of business processes,.especially on collaborative efforts. It is the first really nice implementation on the XMPP, in terms of scale it is huge. Now yes I do see flaws. Definitely. To some extent I agree with Dan that they should have done more pre testing. The biggest flaw though is the complexity. I think some people will have problems understanding the interface, which generally leads to resistance. To what extent it will survive I think it is too early to call. The salient point though is I think many organizations would save time if implemented correctly.

Hi David - As Les said, it can be :-) We've migrated a dozen organizations to Google Apps for email, calendaring, docs and intranet. I'm also happy to answer questions.

I use Google Apps Premier, what would you like to know?
Comment by David C. Brauer on February 26, 2010 at 4:20pm
Is this group discussing Google Apps Premier Addition and enterprise usage of Google Mail?

Alex,
Do you then consider Wave a win?

Interesting post, though irrelevant to the fails IMHO. Though hype may not translate at the same level as user adoption the apparent difference between the two during this product launch was so drastic that the fail is implied there. Also inventions within a platform such as the internet must be adopted in a period shorter than 7 years due to the constant evolutions of the platform itself.
