Thank you for the warm welcome ... taking joy in the success of others is the sign of a true marketer/networker/business asscocate/ , and friend. I even love kitties and puppies. :)

Yeah, sorry about that. Was getting a bit troublesome using two different logins for Twitter Hawaii and Tech Hui. A lot easier to use just one instead.

Hi Mika! I've read Komatsu Sakyo a while ago... while I was in elementary school! Mid 70ies, perhaps. It was back in Russia and I haven't spoken any English at that time. Russia traditionally follows pretty closely on the current trends in Japanese literature, for instance, all Murakami's novels (both Ryu and Haruki) are huge bestsellers there. Same for Komatsu, Kobo Abe, Akutagawa, other classics, way back to Prince Genji. (-:

Thanks Mika, Yes Microsoft was definitely a very interesting place to work as a designer. Over the course of my tenure there Microsoft came a long way in terms of valuing design and its contribution to the bottom line though from the outside its often hard to see it :) Lots of good stories to tell about that place!

Thanks for the warm welcome to Tech Hui. That video was all Todd. He's been doing this kind of work for a long time and accumulated quite a bit of work. My wife, Aya, said it was nice to meet you to. Look forward to more events and I'll be sure to check out the groups you have on here. Maybe next time you'll be able to mingle more instead of hanging out at the front desk :)
