Added note here. I usually have the Atrix charge via my laptop's USB, since I'm sitting in front of it all day. When that's the case it takes a really long time to charge, however, I've been noticing when I plug it into the outlet, it charges WAY faster. So, my initial findings on the charge times may not be as bad as I originally thought they were. Maybe something with my 5 year old laptop, I'll have to try on different machines.

Yes they did. I've read of some employees that don't know what they're taking about. Don't listen to them and insist and if all else fails email me and I'll argue them to death. I even called their support line to pre order and the guy that answered the phone didn't even know what the Atrix was.
The guys at the Kapolei store were really helpful and knew what they were talking about.

James, I was intrigued by your comment about the "grandfathering" of your data plan on AT&T. I'm an AT&T user as well (with an iPhone), and one of the reasons I'm not planning on switching to Verizon is that I don't want the data cap. But I was surprised that AT&T honored your previous (iPhone) data plan when switching to the Android world... did they really do that?

Yeah, when you come to think about it, it makes sense though. The Atrix does use a bigger battery to get nearly the same (I'm saying nearly because I still think the iPhone 4 goes longer) usage, so like with an SUV that has a bigger tank, it takes longer to refill.

I agree. Outlook is one of the worst desktop apps ever written by a major corporation. I switched to Google apps which I use from my EVO and on my desktop browser and everything is _so_ much faster.

Nice write up. It seems from your initial views and extra hacks you performed on your iPhone 4 that you were already an 'Android' person. I mean the target market for iOS devices isn't the jail breaking market or someone who would see the benefit in endless handset choice. So it looks like you were destined to have this outcome.
