CocoaPods

I recently found out about this project and thought that I'd pass it along here for any of you who may not have heard of it:  http://cocoapods.org/It is like Ruby Gems (in fact it IS a gem), or NuGet for .NET.  I am very impressed at how easily this works.See More

About Me:
I am a computer programmer for a Houston based software consulting company where I develop and maintain system integration services, .NET web applications, iOS and Windows Mobile applications for a large energy company. My wife is from Honolulu so we try to spend about 50% of our time in Hawaii where I get up ridiculously early in the morning and telecommute on Houston time.

I find that Hawaii has a much friendlier and active tech community, so when I am there I try to get out to as many techie gatherings as I can.

Localization in GWT using i18nCreator

I'm currently working on a GWT project for a large international company, so I've been spending some time before I really get too far into it to learn how to make this less painful to translate into multiple languages. I've found that GWT makes this a pretty simple task as long as you start with a little planning.

Here I'm going to demonstrate the simplest possible example of localization, but I hope that it will be clear enough to explain how simple this is to accomplish and to… Continue

Early Morning Adventures with GWT, Eclipse and AppEngine for Java

I have a conference call with people in Houston, Dubai and China starting at 3:30 A.M. every Wednesday and this morning while everyone was talking over one another on a topic that didn't concern me, I was able to check out this very cool new stuff!

Finally -- the GWT Eclipse plugin!…

Hi Stephen,

Wow wow wow!

Yeah, it's craziness trying to keep up with all these communities, huh? :)

Thanks for your compliment about my + blog! I'm not sure if I do that on purpose; I have my dark side like everyone else, but my mom said I was always a happy baby, he he.

Excited about the next Manoa Geek meeting. I put maybe because sometimes I get work calls at the last minute, but I definitely want to be there. Gr8 people and content.

Maybe we'll catch up IRL on the 16th! Happy Sunday to you ~

Working on getting better (http://tracitoguchi.wordpress.com/2009/07/03/footprints-to-wellness/). Everyday is another day of healing... :)

Happy & safe 4th to you and yours!

No, I still haven't bought my Mac yet. I would like to ASAP so I can start building iPhone applications. Let me know what you think. It seems like it takes a while for Windows users to transfer over to the Mac OS.
