What's going on with AWS?

I have been very enthusiastic and optimistic about AWS until recently. It seems like it's been problem after another for me recently, and on top of that there's very little support to help me with issues that I have no control over on my end. Most recently, one of my instances is all of a sudden no longer accepting my ssh keypair that was generated by AWS! What the heck? No SSH access, without warning or reason? Will hawaii outlaw holding cellphones, iPads, and other gadgets while crossing city streets?
