About Me:
Rob Bertholf is internationally recognized for his strategic interactive marketing expertise and authority on search engine marketing. Ranking in the top 10 in Google for "Search Engine Optimization Expert", Rob illustrates how effective his techniques are for professionals and businesses. A digital pioneer @Rob sent the first "Tweet" from Hawaii and continually finds ways to leverage the marketing power of the web.

Early on Rob was among the first to realize the connective marketing power of the internet and web content. While still in high school, Rob developed Zeppo, an online teen portal which was a swift success receiving accolades from Lycos and Yahoo.

After high school, Rob proudly served with the U.S. Air Force where he was twice recognized as USAFE’s Communication and Information Management Professional of the Year. Additionally, he received recognition by the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff for development of a classified web-based tasking software. Achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, Bertholf was considered highly decorated for his two tours of active duty and presented with a Commendation Medal, three Achievement Medals, National Defense Service Medal and the Air Expeditionary Medal.

With an insightful and comprehensive understanding of programming and web content advocacy, Rob’s ability to translate technology into marketing success landed him the role of Director of Web Innovation for ResortQuest Hawaii/Aston Hotels and Resorts. There, he and his team created web-based marketing programs using SEO, content management and advertising tracking for one of the county’s largest vacation rental and resort companies.

Rob’s invention of ZeppOS Total Site Management tool, lead him to found The Zeppo Network Inc., a custom software development company. Later, he went on to launch Empowered Internet Solutions in 2005 as a software distributor for his innovations. As CEO, he grew Empowered to Hawaii’s largest custom web marketing solution provider with over 700 clients including national names such as Dominos Pizza, Budweiser, and Jamba Juice.

Today, Rob is the Chief Search Architect for Chapter Three LLC, an innovative software and marketing firm based in San Francisco. He is also a regular keynote speaker/lecturer for corporate and academic institutions, and consults about future Internet trends.

PodCamp Follow-Up: Advanced SEM Tactics?

Is anyone looking for a training program that's more than just a beginner's guide? Would anyone be interested in attending a workshop/seminar on various advanced Search Engine Marketing strategies?

Is there enough of an advanced audience to warrant a seminar? I mean, I have all the love for Twitter (first tweet in Hawaii with username @rob) but lets not stop there, does anyone want to explore the wide range of practical knowledge which can bring a return on time/investment such as:

PBN Book of Lists (Web Design) - Analyzed...

On Friday, Pacific Business News published their list of Web Designers, it is always so interesting to take a more in-depth look at the details to see what they really mean.

The list is quite deceiving as it is ranked by annual revenue without regard for the percentage of revenue actually generated by web services. So for instance if Hawaiian Airlines decided they were going to give their Hawaii bound travelers a website to post vacation photos and a forum to blog on their favorite places visit… Continue

Agreed on the panel! You and Neal are both so knowledgeable and we were all trying to make similar points I think. The paving was fast and the questions flying that indeed it was hard to make a full point before the conversation moved on in a new direction. I actually liked that we jumped right into the conversation though - unconference style - even tho none of our slide decks got launched!
