    Thanks for the response Daniel.  I was somewhat aware of the MFi program, but for some reason I was under the impression that I could avoid that since this is an enterprise app that will never be managed by the Apple app store.  I'll look into that and see what I can find out.  Have you worked with this sort of thing before?  Now I'm thinking about what I could do between my iPad and Arduino :)
