    Hi Nelson, I gather you have some interest and experience with timeseries classification? Although I've generally been in Kauai the last couple years, I might drop by Kailua in the near future. I'll keep you in mind if I'm in Oahu.

    I'm not specifically aware of anyone in Oahu. Although, my group's timeseries interest pertains to astronomy, and there is a somewhat similar project called Pan-STARRs at the Institute for Astronomy, at UH Manoa. I don't believe they are exploring machine learning to the same degree as my group, but but they could be a potential source of insights.
