Hey Eric, noticed you are using sweetcron for your lifestream. How do you like it? I always like the stuff that yongfook makes. Really talented guy. I'm messing around with the layout right now for my own blog/lifestream.
Anyway just wanted to say welcome and maybe I'll see you at one of the co-working meets.
Yeah sweetcron being based in Codeigniter might limit customization to people who understand the framework and php. Probably a higher learning curve than tweaking around wordpress. Yet, that is what excited me because I work with the Codeigniter every now and then.
I think given that he just released it and its still in beta, plugins and additional themes will be coming along. Techcrunch used it for one of their sites and I noticed sweetcron being used by a few other sites in the past week. Hopefully the following will grow and some of the shortcomings right now will be improved. For now, its just funny to see yong's default photo on everyone's blog b/c they are either too lazy or don't know how to replace the photo.
