Delete Comment Just found this cool chat web application that also does video and audio streams that's integrated with Twitter. Was thinking of broadcasting a LIVE video chat from the upcoming Iphone Dev workshop

I agree that the statistics seem to show that twitter growth is stagnating. On the other hand a lot of the twitter statistics seem to rely on web page visitors, while some studies indicate that almost 50% twitter users use other means (phone and desktop apps) to access twitter.

In any case it seems that mainstream media has moved on from their frequent and fad-like twitter mentions. This has probably had some effect on new member recruitment.

I'm having fun exploring the potential of Google Wave too :)
Its a different creature, supporting different communication- and social processes...

Have twitter memberships leveled off? I don't hear about it anymore from everyday people like I used to like 6 months ago.

That's a pretty cool little site. Is it meant to sell ad space?

"Soon" :-) at least for private Alpha. I decided that performance and reliability should be hallmarks (unlike many other Twitter clients) and so have been madly refactoring. I'm presently adding support for multiple accounts, which I want to be seamless, and have to switch from basic authentication to OAuth before I release. All that said, I really do hope "soon" -- and am interested in hearing from any Mac user who'd like to have a chance to be an Alpha user. btw: when I say "alpha" it is not because the app is unreliable or crashes or looses data -- it isn't/doesn't -- but because it is still shy of some basic features that other Twitter clients have, and that users may expect. When that gap is closed, I'll call the app a Beta. And that said, my app's GUI has evolved and is quite novel (unique and distinct). I will post here again when I've got something...
