The LeanStartup Conference from SF will only be simulcast on Monday (tomorrow) I had thought they were doing both days, but they are doing break out groups on Tuesday.   We will have 15+ people on and off tomorrow at the Maui Research & Tech Center starting bright and early at 7 a.m. and going to 4 p.m. with a break for lunch between 11 and 12:20.  Come join us.  Those who registered should have received notice by email.  Mahalo!  More info at  http://leanstartupsimulcastmaui.eventbrite.com/

You are invited to the Lean Startup Conference in SF simulcast at the Maui Research and Tech Center next Monday and Tuesday 12/3 and 4.   Check out http://LeanStartup.co for general info, program, and schedule.   This is becoming a broadly recognized and used approach towards developing companies and it is quite different from traditional approaches.  I am asking all those presenting at the Maui Venture Forums to use Lean Start Up tools to start creating a common language.

They are only allowing simulcast viewing in groups.  Hence what we are doing.  We want to have at least 10 people sign up to go forward.  It is free.  You don't have to be there for all the sessions.  If you are interested, sign up http://leanstartupsimulcastmaui.eventbrite.com/

Big Mahalos to Mark Ausbeck and the High Tech Development Corp for hosting this on Maui.

If there are any Maui Techie people interested in hearing more about the Food Innovation Center, let me know, so we can arrange a future tour of the proposed facility site and a summary presentation.  We are projecting a Science Building community opening in the early spring.  In the meantime, please refer to the UHF at UHMC Web Site Page Updates: http://maui.hawaii.edu/uhf/?page_id=2

We have a Web page up on the new Science Building: http://maui.hawaii.edu/uhf/?page_id=624

Also, inspiring donor stories at: http://maui.hawaii.edu/uhf/?page_id=39

Recently we established a new Endowed Scholarship in the memory of the second social worker on Maui -- Ah Kewn Hew, born and raised in Lower Paia.

We are launching a new campaign on the Food Innovation Center, probably the first in the entire State: http://maui.hawaii.edu/uhf/?page_id=569

The FIC will lead to hundreds of new jobs on Maui, increase exports to Asia and Mainland, and will revolutionize agriculture.

Ray...sounds great. I will be on Maui from Dec 19th to Jan 8th. I'd like to meet up with you and perhaps others to chat about possibilities for furthering space related research on Maui. Space Situational Awareness is the key!

@Jusitin -  Its been too long since MauiTechies gathered.  A party at Sugar Ranch would be great!

@Ray - last tour I went on was last spring/early summer. I'd love to see building getting populated!
