Maui GTUG / Maui Techies dinner 2/7 @ 6pm Flatbread

We got 20+ folks on a Monday night, so I thought I'd keep it that way.
I just wanted to leave a comment to see if other people where interested.
I've ordered the parts to make my own multitouch table. It is a DIY Microsoft Surface or Ipad-like thing the size of a table.
<insert obligatory TED video>
Hey Lynn, it's in the December issue. If you send me an email (gar@lisi.org), I'll send you a pdf.
Maui Techies / Maui Makers / GTUG Dinner Monday 1/10/11 @ 6pm FlatBread
I'm not sure the general forum is best served by starting with the earliest postings, I'm seeing Brandyn's from June 2, 2010 as the first one. That doesn't seem to be a win.
Why I'm posting... I ran across this chart today: http://richard.cyganiak.de/2007/10/lod/ which seems to list a bunch of useful data sets. Since the URL has 2007 in it, I'm not sure why I only saw it today, but if your looking for data for a project, it might be a useful starting place.
I hear that Reichart. I was thinking of taking a kit to LA as a gift but for same reason, I'll leave it home... also the electronics would probably make em go bonkers.
Maui Makers is having a meeting and an EL Wire and basic electronics Learn To Solder class on Wednesday Dec 15th at my home in Haiku. Main focus will be on EL Wire for the people who signed up earlier for the kits, but I'll have extra wire and people are quire welcome to come talk, kibitz and hang. General activities start about 7pm. Drop me a note for directions... Haiku in the dark can be daunting.
