Maui Makers is having a meeting Thursday April 12 6-12pm at our new space in Pu'unene (E Camp 5 Rd, Kahului, HI 96732) - thats in the Community Work Day building.  Check our blog post for more info (map, etc)

The only difference between Live and Extended is that Google's VP has taped a welcome message for us on Maui.  Hardly worth the trouble of getting up to be somewhere at 6am.  Or opening one's door at 6am for that matter.

At dinner Tuesday, I mentioned that I had signed up to host a Google I/O Extended on Maui.  Today they announced Google I/O Live which they will be broadcasting live the keynote and two session rooms All day.

Since that's the case, I won't look for someone else to host it, as it starts at 9am PDT, aka 6am HST.  It's May 10 & May 11.

Very good meeting.  I enjoyed hearing about GreenFunder and signed up this am. I'm going to work on getting a MauiMaker project in there now that we have a location (sharing space with Community WorkDay in Pu'unene).
