It would benefit everyone if any of you heard of any game companies or indie projects looking for extra help.
Please share them in the discussion below!

Comment by Kevin Luttrell on December 6, 2012 at 10:28pm It would be worth adding Scaleform to the Flash/Unity/game discussion matrix. I haven't heard middleware mentioned in this thread but it's a very sought after, and often overlooked, area for Flash developers who want to work in game development.
Scaleform information here.

Comment by David Wang on December 6, 2012 at 8:34pm Hey Wayne Karo, sorry for the late reply. But right now I'm working and learning with Unity. Going to be making my project using the Unity engine.
Comment by Daniel Leuck on December 6, 2012 at 8:25pm Hi Guys - You may want to move these discussions into their own thread (e.g. Flash Game Development.) Posts on the group wall are broadcast to everyone in the group, so its best to limit wall posts to general interest topics. If you create your own discussion in the game discussion forum (see directly above) it will be limited to those who participate.

Would you be interested in doing a talk on-line I use Adobe Connect if you are familiar with that software. The time of the event is June 1st & June 2nd. It is always better to be live, but if you can't make it here, lets do something remote. I will also be live streaming the event

Comment by Sam Joseph on December 6, 2012 at 7:49pm Hi John, I'd love to, unfortunately I teach remotely from London, England :-) And probably won't make it over to Hawaii in the immediate future. However depending on the date/time I could record you a video or possibly even teleconference in ...
Comment by John Barrett on December 6, 2012 at 7:44pm Hi Sam,
If all goes well I will attending HPU this Spring, depends on financial aid! Would you be interested in talking at the flash camp on game development in flash or unity? I would love to have some local talent speaking at the event. So far it is mainly people coming from the mainland, thanks!
Comment by Sam Joseph on December 6, 2012 at 7:33pm Hey David, thanks, we teach game programming every fall - current crop of students are just polishing their games for final presentation - new set in the gallery soon.
Wayne, we teach Unity as part of the game programming course - several of the students usually end up using Unity for their final project.
