It's a pleasure to announce kiddori, a very useful iPhone/iPod app where you can keep track of your nieces, nephews, and friends' kids ages, birthdays, and other fun info.
The team behind kiddori is 100% Hawaii based.

Cool app you have there. :-) Good luck!
Since this is my first app I was fortunate to get both coding and submitting help from the developers at local Fresh Blocks (http://freshblocks.com). They were great help. Submitting it involved more steps than I had anticipated but all went well. I was surprised that my app was approved after only a week. Overall, everything has been painless.
I am planning to push out an update and an iPad version in a couple of months. I'll keep this thread updated.
Mahalo!
Thank you! I appreciate it. Working on some rolling out some additional features this fall and also an iPad version. I welcome feedback of any kine.

Congrats Mattias! Kiddori looks like a fun app. I'm going to grab it.
Hi Brian,
The original idea of the app was not necessarily to show birth dates but to get a quick view of the kids ages (in years and months) today and at next Christmas, without having to look up the birth date and then do calculations. Anyone shopping kids clothes would understand the need for that. I appreciate your feedback. Integration with the users calendar is in the back of my head and we'll see if that might be a future feature.
Mahalo!
Mattias
What's the benefit versus just adding a "family birthdays" layer to google calendar?
I elected not to spend the 99cents, mainly because I don't care for event trackers that don't integrate into my main calendar. One more thing to check.
The "likes and dislikes" is a nice touch though.
