Kamehameha Schools has an Data Analyst, CRM position available at the KS Kawaiaha'o Plaza on O'ahu. Deadline to Apply: 09/18/2011.

*This is a 12-month limited term assignment - end date 9/30/2012*

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Business, financial, assessment, strategic planning, or data analysis-related area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Over 3 - less than 5 years of Related Work Experience.
• Operate microcomputers using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and knowledge of SQL Servers.
• Ability to design, monitor and evaluate databases.
• Ability to address quality control issues related to data standards.
• Deal tactfully and effectively with others.
• Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Competence with data management, SQL query analysis and other data analysis methods.
• Ability to operate with great latitude for independent judgment, confidentiality, discretion, and initiative.
• Work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated competence in basic statistical analysis of data, manipulation of data to tell a story, and in the presentation of data for decision-making and management.
• Knowledge of the design, implementation, and quality control of educational assessment and evaluation studies.
• Strong analytical skills, able to generate and synthesize data information and reports quickly.
• Ability to think creatively and critically, analyze needs, problem solve and incorporate new ideas and points of view.
• Excellent organizational and management skills able to handle multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Able to make presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing and managing budgets, outcomes reporting, dashboards, scorecards, etc. • Experience in managing competitive and conflicted work situations.
• Previous experience in providing direct services to target population.
• Excellent knowledge of community, secondary and post-secondary school resources.
• Familiarity with Native Hawaiian communities, agencies and organizations.
• Knowledge of Hawaiian language, Kamehameha Schools' mission and objectives.
• Respect for Hawaiian cultural approaches to education.

Duties:

• Plans, coordinates and delivers an integrated and comprehensive strategy for implementing a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) process for KS.
• Focuses on the operational improvement of CRM and its integration with intake and data storage systems at KS.
• Supports project-related activities to include data gathering about public school complexes, school mapping, program inventories, research literature reviews, report writing, and assisting with program reporting.
• Assists with the design and implementation of program monitoring, support evaluation studies, collect and maintain data for analysis; generate basic statistical analyses to measure reach, outcomes, and impact; and prepare and present the results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Works to define and acquire relevant data (longitudinal and cross-sectional) needed for CRM reporting and measurement based on tactical plan goals/objectives.
• Supports the integration of CRM with other transactional intake and data storage systems.
• Performs data changes (i.e. merge, de-duplication, updates, and standardization), ongoing data de-duplication checks, quality reviews and error reconciliation.
• Create presentations, tables, charts, and reports to communicate data and program results to key constituencies and decision makers.
• Ensure accurate data, outcome measures, and general needs assessment, working in conjunction with department as appropriate.
• Build internal and external relationships with partners and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and sharing of data.
